NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. - Charles Dale Parsons, 59, of New Smyrna Beach, formerly of Richwood, W.Va., died Feb. 22, 1998, after a short illness.
He was an electrician for Pittsburgh Steel and a Presbyterian.
Surviving: sons, Dan of Wilton, Iowa, Jeff of Muskatine, Iowa, Rick of New Smyrna Beach; daughters, Margie Parsons of New York, Lisa Parsons of Hollywood, Calif.; brothers, William of Richwood, Rodney of Edgewater, James Jr. of Gassaway, W.Va., Delmas of Rupert, W.Va.; sisters, Imogene Caldwell of Richwood, Kay Cummings of Iowa, Opal Young of Cocoa Beach, Shirley Harvell of North English, Iowa; six grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Little Laurel Baptist Church, Richwood, with the Rev. Richard Brown officiating. Burial will be in Baber Cemetery, Richwood. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Simons-Coleman Funeral Home, Richwood.
