Jeannette Eileen was born in Three Rivers, St. Joseph Co., Michigan on 12 October 1925, a daughter of Clifford Hoyt Baker and Ruby Fern Myers. She married Donald Eugene Jacobs around 1945 and had three children; Bradley Leighton (1951-1977) and two daughters (still living).
Jeannette had a Masters in Nursing and was very knowledgeable about anything medical and political. She was full of good information and interesting to talk to. Jeannette also made beautiful quilts.
She lost her husband, Don, to Alzheimer's in 2006. Within a few years, Jeannette also developed Alzheimer's and her greatest wish, besides independence, was to be with Don once again.
Jeannette passed away at Riverview Manor in Three Rivers on 2 July 2012.
