Erline Marie Owsley Housley, 85, of Amarillo died Wednesday, July 4, 2012.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Dr. Stan Coffey of The Church at Quail Creek officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.

Erline was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Detroit, Mich., to Clell Owen and Grace Mary McClure Owsley. She received her GED in 1972 and attended San Jacinto Baptist Church. She loved to dance to country music, bowl and sing "You Are My Sunshine" to all of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She owned and managed two businesses before going to work for Maywood. After retiring from Maywood, she became a full-time grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Owen Owsley in 1929 and Ronald Leslie Owsley in 1933; her parents, Clell Owen Owsley, in 1959, and Mary Grace Owsley in 1994; her husband, James Clifton Housley, in 1990; a son-in-law, Jim McCluskey, in 2005; a great-great-grandson, Jayden Zayne Blassingame, in 2008; and a son, Danny Owen Owsley, in 2011.

Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Scifres and husband Ed of Pflugerville, Linda Ray and husband Don of Fritch and Tina McCluskey of Conroe; two sons, Jim Owsley and wife Karen of New Orleans and David Housley of Amarillo; 18 grandchildren, Shanon Gale, Jerrie Thompson, Jimmie Krueger, Billy Blassingame, Trace McMinn, Bobby Ray, Ronnie Brown, Kellie Guptill, Buddy Newell, Jamie Pichcuskie, Jessica Sangster, Jacob Owsley, Heather Scifres, Lyn Carlson, Dawn Pucci, James Housley, Craig Housley Myers and Kade Housley; 35 great-grandchildren, Spencer Gale, Skyler Jean Gale, Kiley Madison Krueger, Kasie Thompson, Tanner Thompson, Brandon, Brent, Brett, Bradley and Brenden Blassingame, Brooklyn Bidwell, Seth, Sean and Sara McMinn, Dallin Ray, Colby McMillion, Carl McMillion II, Kaleah and William Guptill, Evalyn Mary Rose Pichcuskie, Baby Pichcuskie, Emilio Israel Owsley, Aaron Kelly, Aarick Kristopher and Kathryn Brown, Aimee and Alexis Scifres, Dillon, Denny and Justice Carlson, Paren and Gianna Pucci, Heidi, Maddie and Nathan Newell; and five great-great-grandchildren, Olivia Gale, Lexi Paige Bidwell and Braylon Chance Blassingame.
