Becky Flores, 70, a retired accounts payable clerk, of North Las Vegas, passed away Aug. 29, 2010. She was born Oct. 4, 1939, in Casa, Ark., and was a 46-year resident of Nevada. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas E. Flores Jr.; daughter, Tyrone C. Flores-Whippo; parents, Bob and Ocie Alexander; sisters, Bonnie Thone and Erma Hurtado; and brother, Udell Hootie Alexander. Becky is survived by her daughter, Nicky Flores; grandsons, Nicholas (Brandi) and Jeremy Flores, and Michael and Gregory Whippo; granddaughters, Priscilla, Tiffany and Tasha Whippo; sisters, Syble Smith, Patsy Atkinson and Kaye Burrell; and brothers, Odell Alexander and Mike Alexander. Services will be at noon Saturday, Sept. 4, at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Blvd. N.
