CHARLES MACCALMON
(1884 - 1942)

Charles MacCalmon, 58, a resident of Manitowoc, for 20 years, died suddenly of a heart attack Sunday noon. He was stricken while ordering dinner at the Adams restaurant on South 9th street. Rushed to the hospital by police ambulance, he was pronounced dead on entrance to the hospital.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at two p.m. from the Frazier mortuary chapel, the Rev. Noah Bess of the St. Paul's Methodist church officiating.

Mr. MacCalmon was born in Boyne City, Mich., in 1884 and came to this city in 1922. He was in the insurance business and in recent years served as chairman of the county voluntary Republican county committee. He roomed at the residence of William Shier, of 940 North Fifth street.

A sister in Michigan survives.

The body may be viewed at the Frazier mortuary.
