Mr. Robert A. MacDonald, 70, of 1739 Mirro Drive, Manitowoc, died Friday morning, February 17, 1989 at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10 am Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. Orlando Krueger will officiate and burial will be In Evergreen Cemetery. Graveside military services will be accorded by V.F.W. Otto Oas Post No. 659.
Mr. MacDonald was born June 23, 1918 at Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, son of the late Alexander and Jessie French MacDonald. He was a Veteran of World War II having served in the United States Air Force. Mr. MacDonald was owner of MacDonald Consolidated Homes Inc., and the Robert A. MacDonald Realty company from 1955 to 1970. He had also been employed by the Two Rivers Savings and Loan Company. He married Edith Scheuer in 1942 at Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Edith; a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel A. and Tricia MacDonald of Madison, Wisconsin; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Schumaker of Two Rivers, Grace Schumaker of Milwaukee and Patricia and Robert Schiman of Two Rivers and two grandchildren, Katherine and Daniel E. MacDonald.
