WENDELL MACEACHRAN
(1906 - 1985)

Mr. W.E. MacEachran, 79, of 1317 North 12th Street, Manitowoc, died Saturday morning, December 28, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church. President Richard Warch of Lawrence University, Appleton and Rev. William Plank will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. MacEachran was born October 17, 1906 at Rockford, Illinois, son of the late Hugh and Janet Ralston MacEachran. He attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. Over a period of 45 years, Mr. MacEachran was associated in Management with the following companies: The Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company, Romort Manufacturing Company of Oakfield, Wisconsin, Formrite Tube Company and Wisconsin Fittings Company, both of Two Rivers. He married the former Esther Norris on August 23, 1941 at Ellison Bay, Wisconsin. Mr. MacEachran was involved in many organizations and groups including First Presbyterian Church, Branch River County Club of which he was a life member, 8th District Chairman of the Republican Part, Masonic Blue Lodge of Rockford, Illinois, Manitowoc Chapter Number 16 R.A.M., Manitowoc Commander K.T. Number 15, Manitowoc council Number 18 R. & S.M. and Tripoli Shrine of Milwaukee.

Survivors include his wife, Esther; a son and a daughter-in-law, Dr. John and Elizabeth MacEachran of Peterborough, New Hampshire; a daughter and son-in-law, Jane N. and Todd Bell of Madison and three grandchildren, Hugh, Ainslie and Daniel and other relatives and friends also survived. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Friends may call at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 o'clock to 7 o'clock this Monday afternoon and Tuesday from 9 am to 11 am and then at the church from noon until the hour of service.

Memorials would be appreciated to First Presbyterian Church, Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA or the Manitowoc County Humane Society.
