Mrs. Erna MacEvoy, 60, of 940 S. Seventh St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient three days.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. Alfred Pritzl officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. MacEvoy was born Erna Hudders Feb. 25, 1900, at Chicago, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Hudders. She moved to Manitowoc with her parents as a child and resided here since. She attended Sacred Heart Parochial Grade School and was graduated from the old West Side High School. She later graduated from the former Manitowoc Business College. Mrs. MacEvoy was married to Thomas J. MacEvoy Aug. 7, 1931. He preceded her in death Feb. 18, 1944. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for many years at the Manitowoc office of the Chicago and North Western Railway Co. and in recent years, in the office of Schmitt Lumber Co. at 1117 Franklin St., Manitowoc.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Charles M. Hudders and a sister, Marion Hudders of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
