Donald K. Machia, 48, of 1409 Dewey St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Saturday in the family residence. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gerald Schrankler will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc with graveside military services conducted by Amvet Post 99.

Mr. Machia was born October 12, 1930 in Manitowoc, son of the late Kenneth Machia and Blanche Peroutka Machia Stecker. He married the former Mary Jane Conrils August 13, 1955 in Manitowoc. Mr. Machia was a veteran serving in the United States Air Force in the Korean Conflict. He was employed in Gould Inc. Company, Manitowoc.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane; his mother, Mrs. Blance Machia Stecker of Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and April Machia of Manitowoc; two daughters, Vicki and Kris, both at home; a brother, James of Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Sharon Hall of Chilton and a granddaughter, Jaime Lynn.

Friends may call in the funeral home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday until the time of services. The Amvet Post 99 will pay their respects at 6:30 p.m.
