Donald L. MacLennan Jr., 65, of 41 Rickel Rd., Sun Prairie, Wis., formerly of Trout Lake, Wis., died Tuesday evening, Jan. 22, at a Sun Prairie nursing home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. David A. Passet will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. MacLennan was born June 10, 1914, at Tripoli, Wis., son of the late Donald L. and Ella Mae Koch MacLennan Sr. As a child the family moved to Manitowoc in the late 1920s, where he attended Manitowoc schools and was graduated from Lincoln High School in 1932. He married Ethel Barker July 27, 1936, at Little Riverview Chapel at Manitowoc and resided here until 1950 when they moved to Trout Lake. Mr. MacLennan was a retired caretaker for Buehler Estate at Trout Lake. He wife preceded him in death Oct. 16, 1975. He was a member of Church of the Pines United Methodist Church at Minocqua, Wis.
Survivors include brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Vernon and Peg Barker of Fort Wayne, Ind., Winford R. and Shirley Miller, Miss Florence Barker, Miss Ida Barker and Mrs. Theo Mills (Thelma) Hendrickson of Manitowoc; nieces and nephews, Gregg and Sharon Miller of Sun Prairie and Donald and Nancy Duckart of Manitowoc and cousins. An infant son preceded him in death.
