Nelson William Madenwald, 51, of 906 Hancock street, Manitowoc, died Sunday at St. Mary hospital, Rochester, Minn., where he had been for two weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral home, Manitowoc, the Rev. John L. Walker, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Madenwald was born in Brillion in 1899 and on Feb. 7, 1924, married Elizabeth Havlovitz in Manitowoc. He was employed as a die setter at the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing company for 28 years.
Survivors are the wife; three brothers, Charles of Milwaukee, and Reuben and George of Manitowoc; sister, Mrs. Albert Dusold of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Mr. Madenwald was a past president of the Manitowoc Eagles club and a member of the Sea Gulls International.
