George W. Madenwald, 77, formerly of 922A S. 11th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning in Family Heritage Nursing Home, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Norval W. Kock will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Madenwald was born June 19, 1900, in Brillion, son of the late Charles and Ernestine Stern Madenwald. He had been employed with Mirro Aluminum Co., retiring in 1965. He was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Arnold (Delores) Schultz of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Harry (Rita) Hernsheim of Milwaukee and other nieces and nephews. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Friends may call in Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home 7 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Monday evening and Tuesday until the time of service.
