GLENN MADENWALD
(1922 - 1924)

BURNS PROVE FATAL TO BOY AT HOSPITAL

Terribly burned when he fell into a pail of scalding hot water at the home of his grandparents at Cooperstown Saturday morning, Glenn Madenwald, son of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Madenwald, Route 2, died at the Holy Family hospital in this city Sunday afternoon at 1:30 after a brave fight for life.

The little fellow was with his mother for a visit at the home of the grand-parents and after the accident was rushed to the hospital here for treatment. Everything was done for the child but the shock proved too much.

Glenn was born February 15, 1922 and would have been three at his next birthday. He is the only child and his death is a severe shock to the parents.

The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon from the home on Route 2 at 1:30 and burial will be at Evergreen.
