Harold A. Maertz, age 90, of 916 Rosemere Circle, Manitowoc, died early Wednesday morning, March 26, 1997, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 28, 1997, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Richard C. Miller will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

He was born June 20, 1906, in the town of Maple Grove, Manitowoc County, son of the late Albert and Emelia Brandt Maertz. He farmed on the home farm in the town of Maple Grove until he retired and then moved to Manitowoc in 1964. He married Isabel I. Holmes October 21, 1939, in Green Bay. She preceded him in death December 24, 1994. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Survivors include cousins; along with special friend, Shelley, and his cat, Bootsy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Isabel in 1994; a son, Myron in 1962; and an infant brother.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m.
