Mr. Jim Alcorn was one of Henrietta's most enterprising citizens. His interest in civic betterment, his high standards of living, and his ability to pour oil on troubled waters made him a man to whom many went for help and guidance. He was one of the founders of the First National Bank of Henrietta, and was vice president until his death in 1960. Mr. Jim, as he was called by all who knew him had one daughter, Mary Jane, now Mrs. Reggie Humphrey.
