Captain T. Jack Adams, Co. K, 23rd VA Cavalry, CSA. Enlisted December 12, 1863 in Frederick Co., VA, elected Captain May 13, 1864. Fought under General John Daniel Imboden and Jubal Anderson Early in the Valley Campaign. He was postmaster in Quicksburg, VA after the Civil War, member of the Turner Ashby Camp UCV, Winchester, VA, and a dedicated fundraiser for monuments in the Shenandoah Valley.
