BONNIE ALSTON III
Bartlett High School student Bonnie Jerome Alston III, 15, died Aug. 10 at Elmendorf Air Force Base Hospital.
A visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Evergreen Memorial Chapel, Downtown. A funeral and burial will be held next week in Darien, Ga., with arrangements by Darien Funeral Home.
Bonnie was born Sept. 3, 1975, in Brunswick, Ga. He moved to Alaska with his family two years ago and attended Bartlett High, where he would have been a junior this fall. He enjoyed bowling, dancing and playing basketball.
He is survived by his parents, Cynthia and Bonnie II, his brothers, Derik and A.J. Alston, and his sister, Wyanna, all of Anchorage; his paternal grandparents, Lucille and Bonnie I of Darien; his maternal grandmother, Pearl Palmer of Eulonia, Ga.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
