Doris R. Albrecht, age 94, of Sebewaing, formerly of Pigeon, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Doris was born July 23, 1917 in Fairhaven Township to the late George & Katherine Harder. Doris married Maynard Albrecht. Maynard passed away in 1977. Doris was an active member at Community of Christ Church in Bay Port. Her life was full of church activities and enjoyed assisting her husband in ministry.
Doris is survived by her children: Lynn Albrecht and Brenda Niebel; four grandchildren: Stephanie, Kristen, Kamie and Nicole, and 3 great grandchildren: Ashton, Ryder and Brooklyn. She will be dearly missed by her loving caretakers Rhea & Ronald Dutcher.
A memorial service will take place Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Community of Christ Church in Bay Port. Visiting will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am. The burial of ashes will take place after the service at New Bay Port Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Community of Christ Church in Bay Port or The Huron Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe.
