Mrs. Melvin Mahlik, 32, of 1803 Washington St., Manitowoc, died early Wednesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a short illness.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Paul Blaufuss will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

She was born Pauline King at Grimms May 25, 1927, daughter of Baeton King and the late Leila Sommers King. She was married to Mr. Mahlik at Manitowoc Oct. 25, 1947.

Surviving are the husband; five daughters, Judith, Linda, Mary, Janet and Christine at home; father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Baeton King of Rt. 1, Cato; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Alex Parkhurst of Rt. 1, Oneida; step-brother, Baeton King Jr., of Cato; and a sister, Mrs. Gardy Pech of Manitowoc.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday.
