Frank H. Mahnke, 63, of 1610 South 14th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. L.H. Koeninger will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

He was born in Manitowoc in 1880 and in 1909 married Miss Mollie Puls of Sheboygan. They located in Milwaukee and three years later moved to Manitowoc. For 28 years he was employed as a machinist at the Rahr Malting Company, retiring in 1953. He was a past president and honorary member of Machinist's Local No. 516 and an honorary member of the choir of the First German Lutheran Church.

His wife died in 1934. Surviving are a son, Marvin of Manitowoc; daughter, Mrs. Erwin Engelbrecht of Manitowoc; two brothers, Oscar of Racine and Eugene of Chicago; and a sister, Mrs. Lester Lewis of Los Angeles.

Friends may call at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Friday. The casket will be moved to the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
