Born in Oakley Idaho on Jan.5th 1915, he had 10 other siblings from his parents Joseph H. Garrard and Elizabeth Garrard.
Married his local sweet heart, Laura Weeks in 1942 (was marred in the LDS temple and Sealed to Laura.) In 1944 he returned home and found that Laura was seeing other men and being unfaithful, while he was gone. So he Divorced her in 1944.
Served his country in World War II, in the Army Air Corp. - he was a pilot who flew P-38's.
Married Norma Lee Morand in 1946,
Made his living as a electrician, in the Colorado region. Raised 2 sons.
Died due to Parkinson's complications, in Denver Colorado, at the age of 84, his body was taken to Oakley Idaho to rest with his family.
