Lawrence Pfister, 79, of 30 Caroline St., Chilton, passed away today at his home following a short illness.
He was born in the town of Charlestown on Nov. 18, 1873, the son of the late John and Caroline Kolbe Pfister. He attended St. Martin's parochial school in Charlestown and lived on a farm in the town of Charlestown until two and one-half years ago when he moved to Chilton.
On May 16, 1911 he was married at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chilton, to Miss Victoria Reiser. He was a member of Holy Name Society of St. Mary's church and the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin. No. 194 of the town of Charlestown.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Roman of New Holstein, Ralph of Milwaukee, and Hilmer of Charlestown; one daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Hilda) Rasmussen of Menomonee Falls; six grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Gebhart and Mrs. Ross Wieseckel, both of Sheboygan, Mrs. Mary Woelfel of Charlestown and Mrs. Anna Munker of New Holstein.
