Harold M. Naidl, 68, of 929 Circle Dr., Manitowoc, died Monday afternoon, September 10, 1990 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. Richard Klingeisen will officiate and burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Graveside military services will be accorded by the V.F.W. Otto Oas Post No. 659.
He was born September 29, 1921 in the Town of Franklin, Manitowoc County, son of the late Edward and Elizabeth Burek Naidl. He was a Veteran of World War II serving with the 101st United States Army Airbourne in the European and African Theatres. He was awarded three bronze battle stars and was also a Prisoner of War. After service, Mr. Naidl became employed by the Weyerhaeuser Co, of Manitowoc for a period of 38 years and retired in 1984. He married the former Irene C. Gliniecki, June 3, 1948 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and James Thomas Sr., of Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Kristine Naidl of Manitowoc; four brothers, Erwin Naidl, Donald Naidl, George Naidl and Melvin Naidl; a sister, Marion Naidl, all of Whitelaw, Wis. and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 9 am Thursday until the time of services. There will be no Wednesday visitation.
