Walter W. Nimz (sic), 68, of 3405 Meadow Ln., Manitowoc, died early Sunday morning at home.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. Richard Heymen will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Nimz was born Oct. 18, 1896, at Cooperstown, son of the late Ludwig and Elizabeth Schnese Nimz. He married Margaret Guse April 18, 1923, at Mishicot and the couple located at Manitowoc. Mrs. Nimz died June 16. He was an assistant foreman for Mirro Aluminum Co. 40 years and retired from the firm in 1963 and had also been employed at Manitowoc Motor Hotel. He was a member of Holy Name Society.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Jean) Santell, and a son, John R., of Manitowoc, three brothers, Edward and August, of Manitowoc and Louis, of Green Bay, a sister, Mrs. Clara Nelson, of Duluth, Minn., and a grandson.

Friends may call at the funeral home where at 7:30 o'clock this Monday evening the Rosary will be recited by HNS members, friends and parishioners.
