DEATH CLAIMS MRS. NASH, 83
Widow of Prominent Attorney Dies At Her Home
Mrs. Euphemia Jeanette Nash, 83, widow of Edwin G. Nash, prominent Manitowoc attorney and civic leader, died early today at the residence, 628 North Eighth street. She had been in failing health in recent months.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Frazier Mortuary chapel, the Rev. C. H. Phipps of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Interment will be in the family lot in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Nash, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Luling, was born at Naperville, Ill., in 1859. Her parents came to Manitowoc shortly after, Mr. Luling being a prominent banker in Manitowoc and one of the city's first mayors.
On April 20, 1881, she was married to Edwin G. Nash, well known attorney. Mrs. Nash was a member of the First Presbyterian church, in which she was active for many years. In late years, because of failing health, she confined her activities to her family and immediate friends. Mr. Nash died October 29, 1934.
Mrs. Nash is survived by her son, Edwin Luling Nash of this city, and two grand-sons, Edwin and Gary Nash.
