Mary was born about 1831, the daughter of Timothy Lockwood and Elizabeth Derby Lockwood.
She married Willis Bartholomew on Nov. 3, 1851 in Hebron, Tolland Co., Connecticut. They had a daughter Abbie N. about 1848 and a son Willie Charles about 1861.
The 1910 census indicates that Mary had an additional child, but nothing more is known.
Mary lived all her life in the Gilead section of Hebron.
It is assumed, but not confirmed, that Mary was buried in New Andover Cemetery with her husband and daughter Abbie.
