Jessie L. Waigand, 76, of 307 2nd Ave. S., Nampa, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1986, at home of natural causes after a very long illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 1986, at Cloverdale Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Elvin R. Gallagher of All Saints Episcopal Church and Kemi Court #55, Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America officiated. Burial followed in Cloverdale Memorial Park. Mrs. Waigand, a homemaker, was born Nov. 8, 1909, at Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Joseph Hyde and Lettie Hickenlooper Marshall. She moved to Nampa in 1929. She married Benjamin Harrison Waigand on July 17, 1930, at Nampa, where they had since made their home. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Nampa and a charter member of Kemi Court #55, Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America.
