Funeral services for Mrs. H. G. Womack, 44 who died Tuesday afternoon at the residence of 1405 North Thirty-Fifth Avenue, will be held from the chapel of the Foley Undertaking Company at Pratt City at 10 o'clock Thursday morning, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Per the "Certificate of Death:
Nancy Jane Womack's cause of death was pulmonary tuberculosis. She was 44 years old, two months, and two days old when she passed. Her address was listed as 1405 35th N avenue in Birmingham, Alabama.

Nancy Jane Alley is the daughter of William Francis Alley and Amanda Elizabeth "Anna" Goode. It has been said that she was found on a river bed by William Franklin Alley and Amanda Elizabeth (Anna) Goode Alley of which they then adopted Nancy Jane.

Nancy Jane Alley married Horace Greely Womack, Sr. They had seven children: Horace Greely Womack, Jr., Samuel Arnold Womack, Buelah Mae (Womack) Carlin, Mary Ethel (Womack) Teer, Lillie Womack, Jesse (Pee Wee) Odell Womack, and Richard Green Womack.

Siblings of Nancy Jane Alley are: Thomas R. Alley, J.N. Alley, Salley A. Alley, Elizabeth Alley, Joe Dan Alley, William E. Alley, and Pleasant Jackson Alley.
