Beverly Consuella Benson Link 1918 ~ 2005 BRIGHAM CITY - Beverly Link, 87, passed away Monday, October 31, 2005 in Brigham City. Beverly was born March 26, 1918, in Rigby, Idaho, eldest daughter of Axel Lars Benson and Linnea Skoglund Benson. She married Lendell Lyman Link August 4, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah, after Lendell returned from serving in the Army Air Corp in the World War II Pacific Theater. They were sealed in the Logan Temple August 6, 1956. Beverly was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a Relief Society president, a primary president as well as numerous other callings in the church. She and Lendell served at the Ogden Temple for several years. One of her greatest joys was genealogy. Her latest calling was serving with her husband as greeters at their ward. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Beverly was outgoing and was very generous with her time and talents. She enjoyed gardening and was most proud of her vibrant colored tulip flower beds as was attested to by anyone who drove by her home. She was a great seamstress and a fabulous cook who could prepare a gourmet meal out of anything and set a table fit for royalty. Her apple and rhubarb pies were second to none. She will be greatly missed. Surviving are her children...(3)...; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Beverly is also survived by her sister, Jacqueline Ardell Benson (Harvey) Nielsen, Sacramento, CA. She was preceded in death by Lendell just one short year ago. They had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in August 2004. Among her last words were that she wanted Len to come take her home. Also preceding her in death were her parents and brothers Eugene, Leland and Bruce Benson, and sister Maxine Benson Davis. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 4, 2005, 1:30 p.m. at the Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City. Friends may call Thursday, November 3, 5-7 p.m. and Friday, November 4, 12:30- 1:10 p.m. at Myers Mortuary. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
