There is no record so far as to why they tagged him as a Slave and no record of Besonson here in the states. Thus far! I am his third current grandchild and I am dumbfounded as I was led to believe that I was Caucasian and now that I have done Ancestry.com I am finding out that the Linn name is very prolific with aggregate amounts of many ethnic backgrounds.
