David Ben Crabtree, age 76, of Columbus, Kansas, formerly of Quapaw, Oklahoma, passed away at St. John's Regional Medical Center, in Joplin, Mo, following a long illness.
Son of Benjamin Davis and Francis Levina Dyson Crabtree.
He served with the U.S. Army in WWII.
He married Jacqueline Lou Ferris on Sept. 26, 1947.
She preceded him in death in 1998.
He married Betty Joe Wood Little on April 10, 1999 at Columbus, Ks. She survives.

Bobby Gene Crabtree of Quapaw, Okla.
Gerald Ray Crabtree of Cherokee, Ks.
Vicki Briggs of Miami, Okla. (deceased)
He was the brother of Carl and Orville Crabtree, Evelyn Bozarth, Pearl Hile and Gertrude "Gertie" Canada.
