The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL, Saturday afternoon, January 5, 2002, at 1 o'clock.
Interment, Carolina Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call Stuhr's Greenridge Road Chapel this (Friday) evening between 5 and 7 o'clock.
Mrs. Melvin was born April 8, 1920, in Spring Garden, Fla., the daughter of the late Achiuls and Lena Matthis Arlington.
She was a member of Charleston Heights Baptist Church and was a retired housekeeper with the Charleston Naval Hospital.
Surviving are a son, Donald Daniels of Moncks Corner, S.C.; three daughters, Katrina Daniels Sorenson of LaMesa, Calif., Martha Veno of Hanahan, S.C., Elaine Poore of Monticello, Ga.; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
