Nathan married Grace Johnson, and they had four children: Lois Frances, Nathan Gerald, Thomas Stewart and Vernon Leroy. All are living in 1992, except Vernon LeRoy "Dickie", who was killed in a shooting accident at age 8 while at recess at Blue Mound School.

OBITUARY:
Mrs. Grace Hadl, 52, wife of Oscar Hadl, died early this morning at her home on Route 1, Eudora, the result of a heart attack. She is survived by her husband, three children, Gerald McGee of Vinland; Thomas McGee of Eudora and Mrs. Lois Moorman, Lawrence; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Clifton, Lawrence and Mrs. Lily Anderson, Wichita; a brother, Robert Johnson of Lone Star and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 PM at the Rumsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
