SOUTH BURLINGTON, VT. - Mary Cecelia (Kinville) Barnes, age 82, died on Tuesday, July 10th 2012 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt.

She was born in Burlington, Vt. on October 9th 1929, the daughter of Andrew Oliver and Alice (Wickson) Kinville.

She was educated in the Burlington, Vt. schools and was a graduate of Cathedral High School Class of 1947.

On August 13th 1955, she married Robert Henry Barnes at the Christ the King Church in Burlington, Vermont.

She was a member of the St. John Vianney Parish Church in South Burlington, Vt.

She found great comfort and strength in her faith and church, attending every possible day. She loved her beautiful flower garden, tending it daily. She had a lovely voice and thoroughly enjoyed singing at every opportunity, and marching to big band music.

She was predeceased by six brothers; Andrew Antoine Kinville on June 13th 1909, Albert Oliver Kinville on December 26th 1966, David A. Kinville on March 17th 1978, Clifford "Sonny" Leslie Kinville on August 20th 1961, William John Kinville in June of 1984, and Harry S. Kinville on October 9th 1978, six sisters; Alice Irene Kinville on June 24th 1912, Isabel M. (Kinville) Raymond on December 6th 1993, Elizabeth Margaret Kinville on December 20th 1995, Theresa Mary (Kinville) Robear on October 31st 2006, and Rose Irene (Kinville) Payne on April 16th 2000, and two nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 13th 2012 at 10 a.m. at the St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church in South Burlington.

Burial to follow at the Resurrection Park Cemetery in South Burlington, Vt.
