Mrs. Albert Adams, 46, of 221 South Fourth street, Clearfield, died at the Clearfield Hospital yesterday at 6:55 p.m.
Born April 4, 1902 in Gordon Heights, Centre County, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wiggins.
She is survived by her husband and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Betty Reed of Clearfield; Mrs. Dorothy Ardery of Clearfield; Albert, deceased, Harold of Kansas City, Mo.; William of Steubenville, Ohio, and Clyde, Ruth, Robert and Richard at home.
Seven grandchildren also survive her as do the following brothers and sisters: Clair, Frank and Clyde of Pittsburgh; Harold of California; Mrs. Helen Catherine of Frank, Pa., Mrs. Sadie McTigue of Philipsburg and MRs. Mae Nolan of Shamokin.
Double funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the West Side Methodist Church for Mrs. Adams and her son, Pfc. Albert, who was killed while serving with the armed forces during World war Two.
Friends may call at the Adams residence at 221 South Fourth street on Tuesday evening, Wednesday afternoon and evening and until noon Thursday when the bodies will be taken to the West Side Church where friends may call until time of the service.
Services at the church will be in charge of Rev. Gordon WIlliams and Rev. W. F. Lias, with interment in the Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Military funeral services will be conducted at the cemetery for PFC. Adams by the local American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts.
