She was the daughter of Simon & Martha (Cyphers) Bashore. She married Paul McEldowney, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters: Shirley (Robert) Clawser, Lebanon, PA, and Paula (Walter) Day, Union City, IN; four grandchildren: Kathy Stewart, Barb Clawser, Mike McEldowney, Carrie Clemons; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Beverly Crick; six siblings.
She worked for 30 years as an inspector for Versailles Poultry Producers and for 10 years for Weaver Brothers retiring in 1987. She was a member of Versailles Christian Church.
Services are at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, with Pastor Dennis Wheeler officiating.
