HENDERSON, Ky. -- Mary Martha Baskett Curry, 95, died Tuesday afternoon at Community Methodist Hospital.
She owned and operated Henderson's first private kindergarten in the early 1920s.
She was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Martha "Bebe" Curry of Henderson; and four nieces.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul Church, with burial in Fernwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.
