Raymond J. LaBarge
CONCORDIA — Raymond J. LaBarge, 79, Concordia, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 1994, at St. Joseph Hospital, Concordia. Mr. LaBarge was born March 20, 1915, at Clyde and was a lifelong resident of the Concordia area. He was a veteran of World War II. He and his wife owned and operated restaurants for 30 years. He served on the Senior Citizens Housing Board, was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 588, American Legion Post 76, Moose Lodge, Knights of Columbus and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, all of Concordia.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline of Concordia; and two sisters, Fredaline Stein of Minneapolis and Margaret Foddrill of Boran, Calif.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, the Rev. Barry Brinkman officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia. A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Catholic Building Fund.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, 325 W. Sixth St., Concordia 66901.
