ELKHART - Gerald D. Holderman, 68, 57913 Country Road 9 South, died at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday at Elkhart General Hospital, following an illness. Mr. Holderman was employed at Elkart General Hospital in the maintenance department. He was born Aug. 27, 1923, in Wakarusa and was a lifelong area resident. On April 30, 1949, in Elkhart, he married Eleanor Warstler. She survives along with a brother, Hugh Holderman of Tucson, Ariz. He was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 153.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to any charity.
