A longtime faithful member of First Baptist Church in Dallas, Harvey was born August 10, 1917 in Prue, Ok. and died January 28, 2012 in Dallas at age 94. He served with the US Army Air Corps in the European theater during WWII as an engineer on the B-26 Marauder. He retired after 35 years as a manager with American Airlines. Preceded in death by his wife, Doris on April 4'th of last year. Survived by step-daughter, Linda Maples and her husband, Pat; sister, Pearl Pitts and her husband, Lloyd; brothers, Allen Horton and Monroe Horton and his wife, Joyce and by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday, February 2, 2012 in the Chapel of Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
