SHERMAN, May 5 - The funeral of Mrs. Martha S. Abernathy of this city who died at her home, No. 432 South Maxey street, Friday night, following an extended illness, was held this afternoon at the family home, followed by interment in Hebron cemetery, north of Bells. Services were conducted by Rev. W. H. Moore of Denison.
The deceased is survived by her husband, J. P. Abernathy, and seven children. She had lately returned to this city from Jones county, where she had been staying for her health.
