Mrs. C. Kugel(sic), 85, Dies in Hospital
Following a nine week illness, Mrs. Caroline Kugel, 85, Route 1, passed away at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, early Sunday morning.
She was the former Caroline Forst and was born in the Town of Franklin in 1872.
She lived in Kewaunee County all of her life. She married Michael Kugel in 1891 and he preceded her in death in 1918. A son and a daughter also preceded her in death.
Remaining survivors include three sons, Charles and Edward of Reedsville and Joseph at home; nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 am Tuesday morning at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch Mills. The Rev. Jos. Kalisek officiated and burial was in the adjoining cemetery. The Dewane Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
