Parthenia Isabelle Donathan was the wife of Pleasant Monroe McCoy (May 13, 1854-September 6, 1910). They were married on December 11, 1872. She married well, because her husband was a very good provider for his family. They farmed around Kingsland, AR where they owned both farms and a gin. They gave the land for the Camp Springs Cemetery.
Together they had ten children: Lewis Thomas (1873-1945), Robert Columbus (1875-1959), James Erastus (1877-1970), Richard Bennett (1878-1967), Albert Boyd (1881-1960) John Altha (1884-1969) Ida Elmire McCoy-Bonner (1887-1962), Ada Naomi McCoy Cox-Harper (1889-1968), Lula Caldonia McCoy-Ward (1893-1965) and Lillie Cordelia McCoy-Hunter (1894-?).
