Ms. Payne retired as a Home Health Nurse's Aide. She was a faithful Christian and a member of Saint Peter Baptist Church until her health began to fail, at which time she relocated to Columbia, SC and resided there with her daughter and grand-daughter.
She is preceded by her brother, Jessie Lee Mosley and her sister Yvette Jones.
Ms. Payne is survived by her sisters Mae Evelyn Augutus, Delmaria Cole, brother Henderson Louis Mosley, and six loving children - Jimmy (Yolande) McAfee, Brenda F. Lewis, Linda R. McAfee, Sara L. (Richard) Owens, Karl N. (Pam) McAfee, Millicent D. Hudson, seventeen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and a loving nest of nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends.
