BORUCH - KOCHANOWICZ

At a pretty wedding solemnized at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning, Nov. 11, at St. Stanislaus Catholic church in Duncan, Miss Bernice Boruch of Omaha, daughter of Mrs. Katherine Boruch, became the bride of William Kochanowicz of Omaha, son of Andrew Kochanowicz of Omaha.
Rev. George Mikulski, pastor, officiated at the nuptial high mass and read the single ring ceremony in the presence of a large group of relatives and friends.
They were attended by the bride's sister, Miss Christine Boruch, as maid of honor, and Theodore Koziol of Omaha, close friend of the couple, as best man.
Given in marriage by her brother, Lambert Boruch, the bride was lovely in a gown of ivory satin, made with a full floor length skirt that ended in a short train. The sweetheart neckline was trimmed with tiny seed pearls, and the sleeves, puffed high at the shoulder, came to a point over the wrist. Her finger-tip length veil of white net was edged with lace, and fell from a crown of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums, and a white
rosary that her mother carried on her wedding day.
Miss Boruch, the maid of honor, wore a gown of pink taffeta, made on princess style lines, with a full skirt, short puffed sleeves, and a sweetheart neckline trimmed with pink net. She wore a brush veil and elbow length gloves. Her bouquet was made of pink roses and burgundy chrysanthemums.
Mrs. Boruch wore a black afternoon dress and a corsage of white button chrysanthemums and red roses.
Mr. Kochanowicz wore a white carnation in his coat lapel, and his attendant a pink carnation.
At 12:30 o'clock that noon a wedding dinner for 90 guests was served at the home of the bride's mother. A two-tiered wedding cake, topped with a miniature bride and bridegroom, and baked by the bride's aunt, Miss Cecelia Matya, formed the table centerpiece.
Assisting with the serving were the Misses Roberta Jean Carter, Virginia Krzycki, Mary Ann Boruch and Geneva Kantor.
Mrs. Kochanowicz was graduated from St. Bonaventure's High school in 1937 and for the past several months has been employed in Omaha.
Mr. Kochanowicz was graduated from South High school in Omaha in 1934, and at the present time is associated in business with his father.
The young couple left Thursday for Omaha where they will reside.
