Married first, Benjamin Smith Screven on 2 August, 1848 in Leon County, Florida. After he was killed in a barroom shot out on 12 May 1858 in Mariposa, Mariposa County, California (burial place unknown), she married Council Allen Bryan on 1 November, 1858 in Dougherty County, Georgia. She had one daughter by Benjamin Screven, Mary Hamilton Screven born 9 August, 1848.
