Born in Gladwyne, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Lillian (Frank) Bovell.
She was a graduate of West Conshohoken High School.
She was a Housekeeper in Echo Valley Farms in Valley Forge.
In her early years, she was active in her church, girl scouts and politics.
In her later years, she enjoyed crocheting, reading and was an avid fan of the Yankees and Phillies baseball teams.
She had a lifelong love and interest in cats.
Surviving are daughter Donna, wife of Ronald Pakkala, of Elverson; two grandchildren, Lorie L. Sell of Auburn, N.Y., and Joshua Sell and wife Dawn of Hamburg; seven great-grandchildren, Michael, Cynthia, Corey, Zachary, Zoe, Elizabeth and Cody; and brother David Bovell of Malvern.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters, Lewis, William, Edward, George, John, Arthur Bovell, Elva Childress and Ada Jimenez.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Service from the Devlin-Rosmos-Kepp Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Monday, March 9, 2009, at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m.
