Mrs. Ida S. Eickholt, 81, Holy Spirit Nursing Home, died Mon. 21 Oct. 1985 after a 7-month illness. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Wed. in Nativity Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert W. Gralapp, pastor, the Rev. Douglas Dandurand, a nephew, & the Rev. John Wymelenberg of Holy Spirit will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation 1 - 9 p.m. Tues., with a rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. in Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mrs. Eickholt, the former Ida Stella Dandurand was born 4 Nov. 1903, in Purcell, OK. She married Anton T. Eickholt 24 Apr. 1921, in Anthon, IA. They farmed near Anthon area until 1944, when they moved to Sioux City. He died 6 Aug. 1972 in Sioux City. She was a member of the Nativity Catholic Church.

Survivors include 3 sons, Roland of Correctville, IA., Donald of Hinton, IA. & Richard of Sioux City; 3 daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Margaret) Lundblad of Fairfield, Ark., Mrs. Donald (Marlene) Zacek of Sioux City & Mrs. Robert (Kathleen) Wacheldorf of Sgt. Bluff, IA.; 5 sisters, Mrs. Aurelia Groth, Mrs. Dorene Kortum & Mrs. Alma Hellinger, all of Sioux City, Mrs. Pauline Groberski of Chicago & Mrs. Kenneth (Ernestine) Pritchard of Riverside, CA.; 5 brothers, Orville of Salix, IA. & Clarence, Leon, Ralph & Ernest, all of Sioux City; 29 grandchlldren & 42 great-grandchildren.
