James Robert Braly, 71, Route 5, Lawrenceburg (Bodenham community), died Sunday, March 12, 1989 at Hillside Hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with Haywood Liles and Marlin Goodman officiating. Burial was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Mr. Braly was a Giles County native and the son of the late Robert N. and Ella Clifton Braly. He was a member and elder of Mt. Moriah Presbyterian Church. He was a World War II veteran, having served 38 months in the European Theatre. Mr. Braly was retired from Genesco and a retired farmer.
Survivors include, his wife, Catherine Burns Braly, Pulaski; three daughters, Jamie Marks, Pulaski; Connie Byrd, Lawrenceburg and Betty Greene, LaVergne; one brother, William Neal Braly, Pulaski; one sister, Modena Green, Pulaski; and seven grandchildren.
