Joan K. Golob, 84, of Sheboygan, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Sheboygan Senior Community. Joan was born April 30, 1928, in Sheboygan, to the late Frank and Mary (Melanz) Jelovnik. On June 21, 1947, she married Ed Golob at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on November 4, 2008. Joan was employed as the executive director of ASCS in Sheboygan from 1952 until her retirement in 1983. She was a member of the Riverdale 9 Hole Golf Club, the KSKJ, Slovenian Women's Union, Queen of May Society and a lifetime member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.
Joan is survived by her brother, Richard Jelovnik, Sheboygan. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousin and God children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister-in-law, Mary Ann and other family members of the Barbuch and Golob families.
